COPPA & Student Privacy
Last updated: August 3, 2026
Our commitment
BrainWave Robotics is built for classrooms, and we take the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) seriously. Our kits and lesson materials do not require any student to create a personal account.
Teacher-managed rosters
Where classroom progress tracking is used, it is tied to a roster managed by the teacher or school — never to a student's personal email or a public profile. Only the teacher and authorized school staff can view individual student progress.
No behavioral advertising
We do not use student activity data for advertising, and we do not sell or share student information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Parent & guardian rights
Parents and guardians can request to review or delete any classroom progress data associated with their child by contacting their child's teacher or reaching out to us directly.
