Frequently asked questions
Answers about kits, pricing, orders, and the classroom experience.
Do teachers need a coding background?
No — every kit includes a step-by-step teacher guide and a short training video. No prior coding or robotics experience is required.
What ages are the kits designed for?
Starter Bots suit grades K–2, Builder Bots grades 3–5, and the Team Robotics Lab grades 6–8. Each kit is built around age-appropriate motor skills and reading levels.
Is training included?
School-wide and District plans include a live staff training session. Classroom plans include on-demand video training.
How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping takes 5-7 business days; Express arrives in 2 days. Orders ship from our US warehouse.
What if a part arrives missing or damaged?
Contact support with your order number and we'll send a replacement part at no cost, no return required.
Can schools pay by purchase order?
Yes — see our District Procurement page for PO, invoicing, and W-9 details.
Can we try before we buy?
Yes — every plan starts with a free demo kit trial for two weeks so your class can try it out first.
Is there a discount for multiple classrooms?
Yes — School-wide and District plans include volume pricing. Contact sales for a custom quote.
Are workshops free to attend?
Most educator workshops are free. Student competitions may have a small per-team entry fee, noted on the event page.
Can my students compete if we don't own a kit?
Most competitions require a kit to build with, but a few coding-only events (like the National Coding Sprint) need no hardware.
